If memory serves, a witch refers to a crone or an elderly woman. Similarly, a wizard refers to a wizen man or wise man. Hence they're gendered terms.
I do believe the words came about due to the Catholic Church and translations. Like the Norse religion most know, the Catholic Church converted older myths to suit its political narrative. I believe most myths imply wisdom leads to magical abilities or supernatural powers. Kind of like doing math in your head, or understanding logic bewilders most now-a-days. So, the original myths used crone and wise man, and then it was translated into witch and wizard and then connected to evil. Instead of being the mentor character, they became the villain.

Mrs. Rowling plagiarized most of her work from myths and legends of old, with little effort to conform them to her work.

About the only odd thing, is the cape doesn't seem to be uniform. Unless I'm missing some sort of context, the left side of the cape appears to lay flat against her bust, while the right side conforms. So, her left boob appears to be flat, instead of round.
